In 1995, Cinnamon Sugar Bakery opened its doors in downtown Danger Cove. The owner, Cinnamon Templeton, was inspired to open the shop by her granddaughter, Riley Spencer, and their shared passion for baking. Riley ran the bakery for several months before moving to New York.

Since then, the bakery has found new ownership with Maura Monroe. The former executive bought the business in 2016 after she came to Danger Cove as a tourist and decided to stay. She and her business partner, Heather Pinta, bake everything from gourmet snickerdoodle cookies to chicken pot pies. They enjoy experimenting with both sweet and savory pastries to offer customers a variety of options.
